How it works

Emmi-pet, with its unique and patented dental care system, is now the new trend for a completely new kind of dental cleaning and oral hygiene. It is gentle, motionless and does not involve brushing or any abrasive action!

This revolutionary method is based on a globally unique patent - the Ultrasonic Piezo-Chip created by Emmi-dent. This Piezo-Chip sits in the head of the toothbrush and generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute.

These ultrasonic waved are then transferred, via the bristles of the toothbrush head, onto Emmi-pet's specially formulated toothpaste. At this point 'micro bubbles' are generated, which react with the air vibrations and implode. These implosions effectively eliminate and remove food particles, plaque and bacteria from within your pet's mouth.

Emmi-pet effectively combats:

Gingivitis and periodontitis

Oral cavity diseases

Plaque and tartar build up

Bad breath

Ultrasonic Oral Care

We are offering two treatments in the salon. In both options we recommend a home routine to help withhold pets' dental hygiene.

Treatment 1

This treatment is for dogs that already have some tartar build up and require an intensive course to heal gums and promote cleaner teeth. This treatment will require a minimum of 10 visits. Each visit will last approximately 15-25 minutes. In some cases, weekly/fortnightly visits may be necessary to remove stubborn build up. Each dog will receive their own toothbrush head, included in the price. This will need replacing after approximately 25 uses (unless damaged).

Treatment 2

This treatment is for maintenance of your dogs' teeth and is ideally suited to dogs that do not have much tartar build up or have recently had a full dental treatment. Each visit will last approximately 15-20 minutes. Each dog will have their own toothbrush head and this will need to be replaced after every 25 visits. For optimum results, it is recommended to have an ultrasound dental treatment at least every 6 weeks to maintain your dog's oral health. Less frequent visits are likely to be less effective.
